After Hours Clinics

Greenwood Medical Centre has joined with physicians at 273 King St. E. in Kingston to provide after hours care from Tuesday through Saturday (not including statutory holidays).  Like our quick visit appointments, these spaces are usually reserved for acute illnesses not appropriate for the emergency room.  

After hours care is not a walk-in service.  Patients must have an appointment booked by phone before attending the clinic.

If you have an issue that is appropriate for a same day visit or an after hours appointment, please call your doctor's office first.  Ideally, you will be seen by your own physician or one of their alternates at their office.  If your physician and her/his alternates are completely booked, or it is after 5 PM on a weekday or any time on a Saturday, you will need to directly call the clinic that is holding that day's after hours service. 

 Note that it is not appropriate to bypass your own physician's office to go to an After Hours Clinic since every physician strives to maintain open spots during the day to accommodate urgent issues.
